Step 2– Confirm your date of travel

Review your date of travel on the calendar(s) provided

To change your date of travel click on a new travel date

Step 3– Select your flight time and fare type

Choose your preferred flight time and fare type

Tip: Fare inclusions and rules can be viewed and compared by hovering over the fare type, i.e. Saver Lite(v)

Step 4– Enter guest details and travel preferences

Enter your personal and contact (and if necessary documentation) details in the fields provided

Add applicable travel preferences

How to Manage Your Booking Online?

 

  1. Visit: virginaustralia.com and click on the “manage” tab
  2. Select to Change, Cancel, Retrieve or Re-send Itinerary
  3. Enter your details in the fields provided

Change your flight(s)

Fares that permit change can only be exchanged to fares of equal or greater value. Where the new fare is of greater value, you will need to pay the difference. Different fare types come with different inclusions and rules-these can be viewed by hovering over the fare type titles in the selection table.

Cancel your booking

All booking can be cancelled, but only some offer credits. The amount credited depends on the fare type booked. From 13 January 2013 most credits will be managed via our new flight credit tool, Travel Bank. If you received a credit shell prior to 12 January 2013, you will need to contact our guest Contact Centre to make and pay for a new booking using that credits shell. For specific information please refer to the fare rules on your itinerary or to our fees and Surcharges Policy.

Retrieve booking details

All booking can be retrieved to be viewed online. To retrieve your booking details, you will need your Reservation Number or Velocity Number and guest last name.

Re-send itinerary

If you have misplaced your flight itinerary we can resend you a copy via email. To request a resend of your itinerary you will need your flight and guest booking details.

Update guest details

Contact and passport information, Velocity membership Numbers and Special Service Request (for Vision and Hearing Impairment only) can be updated or added online after a booking has been made.

    Hello, I have flown with Virgin several times and it has always been exception in all areas. Today I was booked on a cheap flight with TigerAir and the flight was cancelled so had notification that I had been bumped on to a Virgin flight, my family
    We’re all booked on a 9:55am flight and I was booked on a 15:00 flight, the lady Mary at check-in looked after me and I can’t say enough for the way she helped me, dealt with me so professionally and made me feel at ease. A truly beautiful lady. Thank you.
